Welcome to Laughing Tao
If you've felt reduced to a diagnosis - you're not alone.
Root-focused Chinese Medicine That Feels Human.
For those who have felt dismissed, rushed, or reduced to a diagnosis. We offer a gentler, more thoughtful approach to care.
No needles required for consults - just a conversation.
You’ve tried so many things already
You ’ve done the labs, the specialists, the supplements — and you’re tired of starting over with every new provider.
Explore What We Treat.
We practice Chinese Medicine Acupuncture in a way that feels human. Whether you are trying to conceive, living with chronic pain, navigating hormonal changes, recovering from stress, or living with a condition that has not responded well to other approaches, our goal is to help you feel more centered, more supported, and more at home in your body.
You’re sensitive — to meds, to stress, to everything
You notice every little shift in your body, and you need care that respects that sensitivity instead of brushing it off.
You want someone to see the whole picture
Not just your pain or your hormones, but your sleep, digestion, emotions, and the way your life actually feels.
What we help with
Chinese medicine isn't limited to just structural or muscular issues. We look at patterns in your whole system, so we often work with people whose symptoms don’t fit in one neat box.
Fertility & reproductive health
Hormones & perimenopause
Pain & migraines
Chronic pain, tension, headaches, and migraines that haven’t responded to other approaches.
Supporting cycles, conception, IVF support, and pregnancy with gentle, body-aware care.
Easing hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and cycle changes so you can feel more like yourself.
Stress, anxiety & sleep
Digestion & gut health
Chronic & complex conditions
Nervous system support for burnout, overwhelm, and the ‘always on’ feeling.
Bloating, IBS, reflux, and the gut-brain connection that affects mood and energy.
Long COVID, autoimmune patterns, allergies, and ‘mystery’ symptoms that need time and curiosity.
How Chinese medicine actually works
It's not mystery, and it's not magic. Chinese medicine looks at patterns over time rather than just isolated symptoms. By using a toolkit of acupuncture, gentle herbal formulations, and personalized lifestyle shifts, we work with your unique biology to nudge the system back into its own natural state of balance. It's a grounded, practical approach to vitality.
We're less focused on diagnoses. We want to understand why the symptoms you're experiencing are happening in the first place.
Healing begins with conversation, not just needles. Your stress patterns, emotional landscape, digestion, sleep - it all matters.
The goal isn't just temporary relief. We want you to leave feeling empowered, listened to, and for your body to move towards sustainable healing.
What an acupuncture treatment with us feels like.
Your comfort and safety are our priority. Every session begins with a conversation and is followed by an acupuncture treatment in a private room. You'll leave with nutritional and lifestyle guidance grounded in Chinese Medicine. Every treatment is tailored to you. It's rare we use the same exact treatment for you twice.
