Charitable Activities & Community Care
Healing extends beyond the treatment room. Laughing Tao is committed to making Chinese Medicine more accessible.
At Laughing Tao, we believe healing should not be reserved only for those with the most resources. One of the core values of our practice is helping make Chinese medicine more accessible, especially for people and families navigating financial strain, life transitions, chronic stress, and limited access to supportive care.

Our charitable and community-based work is one of the ways we live that value.

Through low-cost offerings and community events, we support opportunities for people to experience the benefits of Chinese medicine in a way that feels welcoming, grounded, and within reach.

This work is deeply meaningful to us because care should be personal, compassionate, and connected to community.

Upcoming Events & Registration
Acupuncture is a very powerful healing modality that addresses the symptoms of illness, as well as the root cause of the disease. Community (group) acupuncture is a cost-effective way for people to receive the holistic care they need.
Community acupuncture can treat anything a one-on-one appointment can treat, with the added benefit of being in a group healing setting, surrounded by neighbors, friends, and a supportive environment. Community acupuncture is given in a public setting. You will need to fill out informed consent paperwork. We will insert 5 to 10 needles on your lower legs, feet, arms, hands, or neck and scalp. You will not remove your clothing for treatment, though we do ask you wear shorts, t-shirts, or loose fitting clothing. Treatments are a minimum of 25 minutes long.
