WHAT IS COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE - & HOW CAN IT HELP?
Acupuncture overall is a very powerful healing modality that addresses the symptoms of illness, as well as the root cause of the disease. Community acupuncture is a cost-effective way for people to receive the holistic care they need, and community acupuncture clinics have been established globally to support underserved or impoverished areas.
Community acupuncture can treat anything a one-on-one appointment can treat, with the added benefit of being in a group healing setting, surrounded by neighbors, friends, and a supportive environment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Community acupuncture is given in a public setting. You will need to fill out informed consent paperwork. We ask you a few questions, and look at your tongue and take your pulse. Then we will insert 5 to 10 needles on your lower legs, feet, arms, hands, or neck and scalp. You will not remove your clothing for treatment, though we do ask you wear shorts, t-shirts, or loose fitting clothing. Treatments are 20 minutes long.
